Motorsport runs through Phil’s veins. With over 30 years in the industry, he’s gone from the karting paddock to racing around the world in series including the Porsche Supercup,
GT World Challenge and Le Mans series.
For several years, Phil was McLaren’s lead test and development driver where his relentless commitment to precision and performance was met.
It’s this same attention to detail (and slight obsession with keeping things spotless!) that inspired him to launch BarnTech in 2025.
Phil has now combined his years of automotive expertise and racing craft with his vision to create a business and facility that offers the highest level of service to automotive collectors, owners and enthusiasts.
Lizzie Quaife – Co-Founder & Managing Director
With over a decade-long career in television, Lizzie has worked for leading production houses IMG and Whisper, producing live and non-live sports and branded content before going on to lead Whisper’s Business Development department.
In this role, Lizzie was part of a BAFTA winning team and played a pivotal role in driving the company’s international expansion. With a strong strategic vision, she consistently met ambitious growth targets, helping to establish Whisper as a global leader in its field.
Lizzie swapped the London commute to join forces with husband Phil to launch BarnTech in 2025. With her background in production and a strong artistic vision, Lizzie is passionate about creative collaboration to ensure each client's vision is fully realised at BarnTech.
Every project must not only surpass expectation, but also leave a lasting impression.
And ... after nearly 9 years together, 2 years married, a house renovation and setting up a new business - unbelievably, we still find each other funny!
